AGERO
Software-enabled driver safety and support services powering roadside assistance, accident management, and connected vehicle programs for leading auto insurers and OEMs.
Overview
Agero is a leading provider of software-enabled driver safety and support services, delivering white-label roadside assistance, accident management, and connected vehicle programs to auto insurers, vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators, and dealer networks across the United States. Founded in 1972 as Cross Country Motor Club and operating as a Cross Country Group company, Agero has evolved over five decades into a technology-driven platform managing approximately 13 million service events annually and protecting around 150 million vehicle owners.
Two-thirds of top North American auto insurers rely on Agero's platform, which combines a national network of thousands of background-checked service providers covering every U.S. zip code with digital dispatch, AI-powered crash detection, and automated claims workflows. Agero's Swoop platform -- the engine behind its digital dispatch and network management -- enables real-time, transparent service delivery for clients and their end customers.
In March 2026, Agero announced an agreement to acquire Urgently (Nasdaq: ULY) for USD 5.50 per share in cash, combining Urgently's machine-learning and advanced analytics with Agero's scale and service provider network. The deal is expected to close by end of May 2026, after which Agero will remain privately held under Wolk family ownership.
