Overview
Datos Insights is a global research, data, and advisory firm serving the banking, insurance, securities, payments, and retail technology industries. The firm was formed in June 2021 through the merger of Aite Group and Novarica, combining Aite's broad financial services research coverage with Novarica's deep insurance technology advisory expertise. In February 2022, the combined entity merged with RBR, a UK-based research firm specializing in retail banking, cards, and payment technology. The combined organization rebranded as Datos Insights in June 2023.
Datos Insights serves two primary client groups: financial institutions and insurers that consume research and advisory services to make better technology and strategy decisions, and the technology vendors and professional services firms that serve those institutions. The firm employs former industry CIOs, senior executives, and experienced researchers who provide actionable intelligence at the intersection of business, technology, and regulatory challenges.
In August 2025, Datos Insights acquired InsTech, the prominent London-based insurance innovation community and advisory firm, significantly strengthening its UK and London Market insurance presence and expanding its expertise in emerging risk methodologies, parametric insurance, and innovative coverage forms.
