AMERICAN INTEGRITY INSURANCE COMPANY
Strength From Integrity -- Florida-focused residential property insurance built on trust and financial strength.
Overview
American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida is a Tampa-based property and casualty insurer focused on residential property coverage across the Southeast United States. Founded in 2006 by Bob Ritchie in response to the acute shortage of homeowners coverage following the devastating 2004 hurricane season, American Integrity issued its first policy in 2007 and has grown into one of the largest independent homeowners insurers in Florida.
The company completed its initial public offering in May 2025 on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: AII), raising approximately USD 100 million in gross proceeds. For full year 2025, American Integrity grew gross premiums earned by nearly 30% to USD 885 million, served nearly 422,000 customers (up 19% year-over-year), and achieved a record combined ratio of 63.7%, reflecting strong underwriting discipline and a favorable loss environment.
American Integrity operates across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina through a distribution network of more than 2,000 independent agents. In January 2026, the company entered North Carolina as part of its ongoing Southeast regional growth strategy. In October 2025, the company launched a new commercial residential property insurance program in Florida, expanding beyond personal lines for the first time to serve condominium associations, townhome associations, and homeowners associations.
