Overview
The Argus Group is Bermuda's oldest and largest domestic multi-line insurance and financial services organization, founded in 1950 and headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda. The group operates across Bermuda, Gibraltar, Malta, and Canada, offering a comprehensive range of health, life, disability, workers compensation, property and casualty insurance, pensions, investments, and healthcare management services.
For FY2024 (year ended March 31, 2024), Argus reported insurance revenue of BMD 193.2 million, a 12.9% increase year-over-year, and net operating earnings of BMD 18.5 million. Shareholders' equity stood at BMD 156.2 million, up 17.2% from the prior year. Principal insurance subsidiaries are rated A- (Excellent) by AM Best.
In January 2025, Argus Group Holdings was acquired by BF&M Limited (now renamed Allshores Limited as of May 2025), creating Bermuda's largest domestic insurer. The Allshores rebrand is being phased in through 2026.
