Asociacion Insurtech Colombia (AIC) is the leading trade association of the insurtech ecosystem in Colombia, founded in 2023 by technology-focused insurance companies seeking to drive collaboration and innovation across the insurance market. AIC represents 50+ member organizations and operates as the principal reference point for growth and innovation in the sector, articulating the intersection of insurance, technology, and business.

The association advocates for the insurtech ecosystem with regulators and policymakers, promotes knowledge sharing through events and training programs, and builds connections between insurtechs, carriers, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders in Colombia and across Latin America. AIC has actively engaged in regulatory advocacy including opposing excessive tax burdens on the insurance sector that could slow digital transformation, and supporting industry frameworks such as Open Finance and Open Insurance in Colombia.

AIC serves as a founding member of the Alianza Insurtech Panamericana (AIP), a four-country regional alliance with Mexico, Chile, and Argentina that collectively represents 250+ insurtechs across a market of more than 200 million inhabitants and USD 50 billion in insurance premiums.
