Overview
BOXX Insurance is a global cyber insurance and protection company founded in 2018 by Vishal Kundi and Mike Senechal. Operating as a fully licensed Managing General Agent (MGA) and Lloyd's of London coverholder, BOXX combines cyber insurance coverage with active cybersecurity tools and managed services through its "Predict-Prevent-Insure" model.
In July 2025, Zurich Insurance Group completed its full acquisition of BOXX Insurance, with BOXX continuing to operate as a standalone brand under Zurich Global Ventures (ZGV), the global platforms division of Zurich. The acquisition builds on a relationship dating back to 2021 when Zurich led BOXX's Series A funding round. BOXX serves nearly one million customers across five continents, with offices in Toronto, Miami, Dubai, and Zurich.
