BrokerTech Ventures

BrokerTech Ventures (BTV) is the first and largest broker-led insurtech ecosystem in the world. Founded in 2019 by a consortium of leading independent insurance brokerage firms, BTV convenes broker-centric innovation, ideation, investment, and communication to propel the insurance distribution industry forward. The organization operates at the intersection of established broker networks and emerging insurtech, providing startups with the distribution access, capital, and operational mentorship needed to succeed in the broker channel.

By 2026, BTV had run six accelerator cohorts, investing in 67 insurtech companies and providing them access to a network of broker, wholesaler, and carrier partners. Portfolio companies collectively represented more than USD 1.67 billion in aggregate value, with the average company valuation more than doubling after completing the accelerator program.

BTV operates through five integrated "towers": Accelerator, Early-Stage Investments, Innovation, Capital, and Media and Communications. This structure allows the organization to support insurtechs from initial identification through scaling and broader market adoption.
