The Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA) is an independent nonprofit professional association founded in 1983 to advance professionalism and expertise in insurance data management. Headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, IDMA serves as the primary certification and education body for insurance data and information management professionals across the United States.
IDMA offers the Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM) and Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) designations, along with educational workshops, an annual national conference, regional chapter meetings, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities. The organization partners with The CAS Institute to offer additional analytics credentials for members seeking to deepen their quantitative expertise.
