Overview
ISC Group (Integrated Specialty Coverages) is a tech-enabled, multi-line managing general agent headquartered in Carlsbad, California. Founded in 2016 by Matt Grossberg, ISC builds end-to-end specialty insurance products by connecting a broad network of carrier markets with retail and wholesale distribution channels through proprietary artificial intelligence, data analytics, and platform technology.
The company writes more than USD 450 million of gross written premium across 12+ specialty commercial verticals and maintains relationships with more than 5,000 insurance agencies and brokers nationwide. ISC operates 47+ programs with 82 E&S licenses, serving admitted and non-admitted markets across all 50 states.
ISC Group includes ISC MGA (US operations), ISC MGA Europe (London-based, master coverholder serving European markets), and the Abacus online MGA platform for small commercial digital distribution. The company is backed by Onex Partners, which acquired ISC from KKR in late 2025. KKR had previously acquired a majority stake from Sightway Capital (Two Sigma) in March 2021.
