Rimkus
Global leaders in engineering and technical consulting.
Overview
Rimkus is a global engineering and technical consulting firm headquartered in Houston, Texas, with operations across more than 110 offices worldwide. Founded in 1983, the company rebranded from Rimkus Consulting Group to simply Rimkus in 2022 as it approached its 40th anniversary, reflecting its evolution into a diversified global consultancy.
With approximately 1,500 employees including professional engineers, architects, scientists, and technical specialists, Rimkus serves insurance companies, law firms, corporations, and government agencies across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. The company investigates accidents, failures, and incidents to determine origin and cause, providing litigation support, expert witness testimony, and construction dispute resolution in complex insurance and legal matters.
Under the leadership of President and CEO Chris Rayasam, Rimkus has pursued an active acquisition strategy, integrating CCi (Capital Consulting International) in 2024, Hargreaves Jones (UK) in 2024, and most recently Human Factors Consulting Services, Inc. (HFCSI) in March 2025. The company received a strategic growth investment from HGGC, a leading middle-market private equity firm, in February 2024.
