Overview
Allphins is a data analytics and technology platform for commercial and specialty (re)insurance professionals. Founded in 2018 in Paris, France, the company empowers underwriters and risk managers at (re)insurance firms to make faster, more accurate decisions by cleansing, digitizing, and standardizing unstructured risk data.
The platform covers six lines of business -- Offshore Energy, Onshore Energy, Terrorism and Political Violence, Credit and Political Risk, Property, and Casualty and Cyber -- and is used daily by over 17 leading (re)insurance companies. Allphins graduated from Lloyd's Lab Cohort 3 (the Lloyd's of London innovation accelerator) and is a member of STATION F, France's flagship startup campus.
Clients report saving 10 weeks per year in manual data processing, identifying 10% additional capacity utilization, and increasing premiums by 3 to 5% per annum through data-driven underwriting decisions.
