Overview
Attune is a digital MGA and insurance producer platform focused on the U.S. small commercial market. Originally launched in 2016 as a joint venture by AIG, Hamilton Insurance Group, and Two Sigma Investments, Attune combined carrier scale, underwriting expertise, and data science capabilities to build a modern agent portal for quoting and binding small business insurance without ACORD forms.
After being acquired by Coalition in October 2021 and subsequently acquired by Pinnacol Assurance in January 2023, Attune operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacol. The platform distributes a curated suite of P&C products -- including EverPeak Workers' Compensation built by Pinnacol -- through independent agents and brokers across all 50 states.
Attune earned two Stevie Awards in 2025 for Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year and Achievement in Customer Service Automation, reflecting its broker-first approach and strategic use of automation to deliver near-zero error rates and high customer satisfaction scores.
