Overview

Aureus Analytics is an AI and machine learning company that built the DONNA platform, a revenue acceleration and customer intelligence solution for independent insurance agencies and brokers. Founded in 2013 by Anurag Shah, Ashish Tanna, and Nitin Purohit with operations in India and the United States, the company expanded to the US market in 2018 after participating in the inaugural Hartford InsurTech Hub accelerator program and winning the Connecticut Innovations VentureClash competition.

The DONNA platform uses patented SentiMeter technology to analyze policyholder data and predict customer sentiment without traditional surveys. The platform processed over $7 billion in written premiums and was adopted by more than 200 agencies, helping them increase customer retention, identify cross-sell opportunities, and grow revenue. DONNA integrates with all six major agency management systems (AMS) and provides real-time, AI-powered insights into agency books of business.

In March 2025, SIAA Inc., the leading national insurance agency network with over 5,200 member agencies writing $16.7 billion in total premiums, acquired the assets of DONNA.ai (formerly Aureus Analytics). The platform was subsequently rebranded as AgencyIQ and integrated into SIAA's technology and data infrastructure. Co-founder and CEO Anurag Shah joined SIAA as Chief Data Officer.
