Overview

BIOSerenity is a French leader in electrophysiological diagnostics, combining vertically integrated connected medical devices with an AI-enhanced diagnostic platform for neurology, sleep medicine, and cardiology. Founded in 2014 by Pierre-Yves Frouin and incubated at the ICM Institute (Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle epiniere) in Paris, the company has grown to conduct over 45,000 EEGs, 8,000 polysomnographies (PSGs), and 5,000 ECGs annually, serving more than 150,000 patients per year through approximately 300 clinical partners.

In November 2025, Emmanuel Mougeotte (former CEO of CompuGroup Medical France) became CEO, succeeding Pierre-Yves Frouin who concluded his tenure in January 2026. BIOSerenity has raised approximately USD 121 million across four funding rounds.

BIOSerenity has a direct insurance dimension: SCOR (the global reinsurer) is a strategic investor, and the company's Cardiophy Check-up service has been deployed as an at-home life insurance underwriting tool by a leading French insurance distributor. This positions BIOSerenity at the intersection of health diagnostics and life insurance underwriting.
