Overview

Central Analysis Bureau (CAB) is the market-standard data and analytics platform for commercial trucking risk underwriting in the United States. With over 85 years of history, CAB supplies critical transportation safety and financial data to the insurance industry, aggregating millions of safety records from government and proprietary sources to provide comprehensive profiles of any U.S. motor carrier -- including safety history, financial records, operating authority, and compliance data.

CAB is recognized across the industry as the de facto standard for commercial truck underwriting decisions. The platform serves insurance carriers, brokers, agents, and fleet managers working in commercial transportation, providing both historical safety analytics and, since 2025, real-time telematics-based risk signals through its TruckerCloud integration.

Since March 2021, CAB has operated within the Randall Reilly portfolio. In January 2024, Randall Reilly separated its talent acquisition operations from its industrial data business, with CAB becoming part of Fusable -- a dedicated provider of risk and asset intelligence data for the transportation and equipment industries alongside brands including Price Digests, RigDig BI, EDA, Iron Solutions, and EquipmentWatch.
