Overview
PayPact is a claims technology provider offering digital motor insurance claims management for the Romanian market. Operated by Bewell Technologies SRL, the company serves individual consumers filing MTPL (Motor Third Party Liability) and CASCO claims, reducing the claims process from over an hour to approximately 10 minutes and cutting payout time from up to 40 days to a maximum of 48 hours.
The platform is delivered as a web application that enables claimants to file a complete claim on a smartphone, automatically retrieving required documents, connecting users with accredited damage inspectors, and facilitating compensation payment directly to the claimant's account upon insurer approval. The system incorporates anti-fraud and data analysis capabilities along with bank-level customer identification. The company has since expanded under the FaraGrija.ro brand, adding a full-service auto incident management subscription covering damage claim management, towing, vehicle replacement, legal consultation, and court representation.
PayPact received a EUR 50,000 grant through the LHoFT Catapult: Kickstarter 2021 program and serves over 24,000 clients. The company's founder Dan Cobeanu brings more than 15 years of experience in insurance, fintech, and insurtech, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Romanian Fintech Association.
