Accurence
Onsite inspection and scope automation software for wind and hail property claims
Overview
Accurence was a Louisville, Colorado-based SaaS company that invented onsite inspection and scope automation software for property insurance adjusters and roofing contractors handling wind and hail claims. Founded in 2010 by Jake Labrie and Zachary Labrie, the company developed the proprietary S.A.G.E. (Smart Automated Guideline Engine) decision intelligence platform that automated multiple claim processing steps within 90 seconds of receiving field inspection data.
In September 2019, Accurence was acquired by Next Gear Solutions (backed by Serent Capital), combining two leading companies in the property insurance technology space. The combined entity was subsequently acquired by CoreLogic in September 2021, and Accurence products now operate as part of CoreLogic Next Gear alongside DASH, MICA, and Engage. Jake Labrie became Next Gear's President of Carrier Solutions post-acquisition.
The company held four issued patents with additional pending applications covering Wind, Hail, Hurricane, Flood, and other peril types, including an innovative system for automated roof estimates using aerial image analysis. Accurence also acquired the software division of National Water in June 2019 prior to its own acquisition, adding water mitigation capabilities to its portfolio.
