Overview
Azibo is a free, one-stop financial-services platform built exclusively for independent rental property owners. Founded in 2019 by Chris Hsu, Gregor Watson, and Rob Bloemker, the company set out to bring modern fintech tools to the 80% of residential real estate owned by individual landlords who had historically relied on spreadsheets and manual processes. The platform combined rent collection, banking, insurance, accounting, tenant screening, and lease management into a single integrated experience at no cost to landlords.
Over its operating life Azibo raised USD 29.5M across a USD 10.5M seed round (August 2020, led by Canaan Partners) and a USD 19M Series A (January 2022, led by SVB Capital), backed by Khosla Ventures, QED Investors, Camber Creek, RET Ventures, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, Assurant Ventures, Victory Park Capital, and Context Ventures. The platform managed 20,000+ rental units, processed USD 250M+ in transactions, and reported 10,000+ positive credit reports submitted to bureaus on behalf of tenants.
In May 2025, Azibo was acquired by TurboTenant, a Fort Collins, Colorado-based all-in-one rental property management software company backed by LLR Partners. Azibo technology continues to support existing users during the transition, and new landlords are directed to TurboTenant.com.
