Overview

Beyontec is a global insurance technology solutions provider specializing in a cloud-based, workflow-driven core insurance administration platform. Founded in 2008 by insurance industry veterans with over 20 years of hands-on experience, the company spent three years in development before deploying its first customer. The Beyontec Suite serves over 65 insurance carriers and brokers across the United States, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

In July 2021, Azentio Software -- a Singapore-headquartered software products business owned by funds advised by Apax Partners -- acquired Beyontec to expand its insurance technology portfolio. The acquisition completed on December 1, 2021. Azentio was itself formed in 2020 through a carve-out of 3i Infotech and provides mission-critical, vertical-specific software for banking, financial services, and insurance. Together, Azentio and Beyontec offer an enhanced, end-to-end insurtech platform covering General, Health, Life, and Commercial insurance.

Beyontec's platform is known for its high configurability -- insurance carriers can configure workflows, products, state filings, and underwriting rules without IT intervention or programming skills -- making it attractive to mid-market and growth-stage carriers seeking rapid deployment.
