Blue Goose Software was founded in 2001 by Keith Aderhold, originally as an in-house solution to address the technical challenges that arose when SouthGroup Insurance Services merged 17 insurance agencies into a single entity. What began as an Application Service Provider (ASP) for hosting and data management evolved over two decades into a comprehensive software platform purpose-built for Managing General Agents (MGAs), wholesale brokers, and program administrators operating in the specialty and excess & surplus (E&S) insurance market.
