Overview

CNC Catastrophe and National Claims is an independent claims management company founded in 1988 as CEFCO National Claims, Inc. by Chief Operating Officer Cortez Fowler. With over 35 years of catastrophe response experience and 600+ combined years of adjuster expertise on staff, CNC provides comprehensive insurance claims services including daily and catastrophe claims allocation, first notice of loss (FNOL), third-party administration, forensic engineering, and proprietary claims technology infrastructure.

Operating from a 32,000 square foot campus in Mobile, Alabama with 354 workstations, CNC has managed claims across some of the most significant US catastrophe events, including Hurricane Hugo, the Northridge Earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Ida. The company serves insurance carriers, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and private flood insurance companies in both domestic and international markets.

CNC differentiates through its in-house technology team of 26 IT and software developers building proprietary claims management systems, as well as its designation as a Lloyd's of London Delegated Claims Administrator.
