Overview

Hancock Claims Consultants is a pioneer in property claims services for the insurance industry, providing field inspection and claims support to carriers across the United States since 2003. Initially founded as a contracting company in Atlanta, the firm pivoted in 2004 to launch its Ladder Assist pilot program and fully exited contracting in 2008 to focus exclusively on insurance industry services.

The company operates one of the largest networks of field inspection technicians in the United States and is one of the few SSAE 18-designated inspection firms in the country. Hancock serves more than 100 insurance carriers, including all 50 of the top 50 U.S. carriers, and can deploy to any location within 24 to 48 hours across 300+ metropolitan cities.

In 2021, Century Equity Partners acquired a majority stake in Hancock, and in June 2025, the company expanded its field network through the acquisition of Kentucky-based Knight's Solutions.
