Founded by Siran Cao and Mel Faxon after witnessing firsthand how working parents — particularly frontline and hourly workers — were forced to choose between their careers and caregiving responsibilities, Mirza has grown to support over 10 million families and delivered more than $32 million in benefits. The platform is named after Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman to win the Fields Medal in mathematics.
