IMPERIAL PFS CANADA
Insurance premium financing and payment solutions for Canadian brokers and policyholders
Overview
Imperial PFS Canada is a Canadian insurance premium financing and payment solutions provider, operating as the Canadian subsidiary of IPFS Corporation -- North America's largest premium finance company. Originally launched in 2012 as SNAP Premium Finance, the company rebranded to Imperial PFS Canada to align with its parent, IPFS Corporation, which was established in 1977 and has over 45 years of experience in premium financing.
The company operates on a B2B2C model, enabling Canadian insurance brokers and agencies to offer their policyholders flexible payment plans for insurance premiums. This helps policyholders obtain coverage while preserving working capital, and helps brokers retain clients through flexible options. IPFS Corporation, the parent, financed more than 850,000 loans totaling more than USD 17 billion across North America in 2025.
Imperial PFS Canada is actively expanding its integration footprint through partnerships with digital insurance platforms. Recent partnerships include Quotey (as its first embedded premium finance provider) and Dyad (with AndDone) to embed premium finance and digital solutions for the Canadian market.
