Kanguro Seguro is a pet and renters insurance MGA distributing policies directly to Spanish-speaking consumers in the United States through a bilingual mobile application. Founded in Miami in 2021 by Andres Mishaan and Nicholas Hanabergh, the company focuses on underserved Hispanic and Latino communities who face language and accessibility barriers in the U.S. insurance market.

The company underwrites pet health insurance policies on an accident-and-illness basis and added renters insurance to its product portfolio in March 2025. Pet insurance is available in 23 states plus Washington, D.C.; renters insurance launched in Florida. Kanguro uses the Cloud Insurance platform as its technology backbone for policy administration and claims processing.

Distribution runs exclusively through its iOS and Android mobile app, enabling policyholders to enroll, manage coverage, submit claims, and access 24/7 telehealth services for pets without agent intermediaries. The company has surpassed 1,000 pet insurance policyholders since launching in September 2022.
